Ben Hill Project
Over the years, Coach Reed has slowly made improvements to their current facility but with more children taking part in the programs that RCF offers each year, they have outgrown this building.
On October 8, 2019, Tulsa Mayor G.T. Bynum announced that the City of Tulsa has partnered with the Reed Community Foundation which will allow RCF to operate out of the Ben Hill Community Center located at 210 E. Latimer Pl, Tulsa, OK 74106. This 11,000 square foot building, which once was an important part of the north Tulsa community, has been vacant for over 10 years. RCF will assume the responsibility, both financially and physically, of taking on major interior renovations. Relocating to this building will allow RCF to offer more community-based programs and to reach more children and families in the community.
The new facility will be large enough to accommodate the following:
-
Gymnasium
-
Education Center (Computer Lab, STEM Lab)
-
Food & clothing pantry (Feed The Children organization will sponsor)
-
Counseling

Floor Plan

Our goal is to make the Ben Hill Community Center a source of tremendous pride for the north Tulsa community. In order to do this, we will have the financial obligation to get the Ben Hill Community Center ready for occupancy as well hiring additional team members.
There are so many generous people in Tulsa, and the surrounding area, that have helped our organization in the past and we thank each of you. Please know that we need your continuous support.
