Dave Staudt - Treasurer

Dave heard of Coach Reed in 2011 and got on the Reed Community Foundation board as its treasurer, handling the finances and freeing up Coach to do what he does best.

Dave is particularly driven to assist Coach Reed in helping in the North Tulsa community.  After being out of the city for his career, he was shocked a few years ago to learn about the 1921 Race Massacre, which wasn’t mentioned in the Tulsa public schools when he was growing up.

He’s an over-the-hill boxer who has fun letting the little kids beat up on him in the ring.

"I started taking my sons to Coach Reed when they were 6 years old, for the workouts but also for the experience of diversity and bridging cultures. When I saw the work Coach was doing and saw the incredible impact he was having on the community, I couldn't help but get involved!"

Doug Custer

Doug is an IT Project Manager at Cimarex Energy Co in Tulsa. Doug has been with Cimarex since 2007 where he started as a senior programmer analyst. In addition to helping Coach Reed, by connecting with the kids of the Reed Community Foundation and trying to be a positive mentor/role model, Doug also is very active in a large local church where he spends a lot of time leading men’s small groups and serving in the live video production area.

“I first became aware of RCF when our church did a local outreach for them. I was immediately drawn by the heart of Coach Reed who is just trying to help kids get pointed in the right direction in life. With honesty, discipline, and love that I see Coach provide these young people… I wanted to be involved and help these kids stay the course and experience success in their life.”
